Okay. After about 10 years of using email I’m officially over it. It’s not that I don’t want to send emails; I do. And it’s not that I don’t want to read your emails, I do. Its just that, well, I’m over getting it, and I’m over storing it.
I don’t know; somehow my requirements for receiving and storing email just aren’t being met any more. How many accounts do I actually need to POP from? And now I’m IMAPing… and that is just so different from POP. And I want to read the mailing lists later. And I want to search, and filter, and collate. And I want to be able to get at it. And take it with me. And put it back.
And something about address books. And what’s with calendaring?
Okay, M2 was quite a trip, but the come-down is harsh. And something about Zoë seems right. Maybe.
So I’m jumping on this bandwagon. And I may just end up deleting a whole lot of emails once I’m done with them. Or maybe one big “email” folder.
Stupid email. I’m over it.
